सप्तर्षि संवत्

सप्तर्षि संवत् साभार  सप्तर्षि संवत् भारत का प्राचीन संवत है जो ३१० होता है। महाभारत काल तक इस संवत् का प्रयोग हुआ था। बाद में यह धीरे-धीरे विस्मृत हो गया। एक समय था जब सप्तर्षि-संवत् विलुप्ति की कगार पर पहुंचने ही वाला था, बच गया। इसको बचाने का श्रेय कश्मीर, और हिमाचल प्रदेश को है। उल्लेखनीय है कि कश्मीर में सप्तर्षि संवत् को 'लौकिक संवत्' कहते हैं और जम्मू व हिमाचल प्रदेश में 'शास्त्र संवत्'। > परिचय नाम से ही स्पष्ट है कि इस संवत् का नामकरण सप्तर्षि तारों के नाम पर किया गया है। ब्राह्मांड में कुल 2 नक्षत्र हैं। सप्तर्षि प्रत्येक नक्षत्र में 10वर्ष ठहरते हैं। इस तरह 7 साल पर सप्तर्षि एक चक्र पूरा करते हैं। इस चक्र का सौर गणना के साथ तालमेल रखने के लिए इसके साथ 18 वर्ष और जोड़े जाते हैं। अर्थात् 18 वर्षों का एक चक्र होता है। एक चक्र की समाप्ति पर फिर से नई गणना प्रारंभ होती है। इन 18 वर्षों को संसर्पकाल कहते हैं। जब सृष्टि प्रारंभ हुई थी उस समय सप्तर्षि श्रवण नक्षत्र पर थे और आजकल अश्वनी नक्षत्र पर हैं। श्रीलंका के प्रसिद्ध ग्रंथ "महावंश" में ए...
